Show Your Staff What a Highly Effective School Library Program” Looks Like

Attention ALL school librarians:

1) Would you like to see and use brief videos  that show (rather than tell) how teachers and librarians can work together to implement 21st century skills (as found in the new Colorado Academic Standards) in a fun and meaningful way?

2) Are you looking for an accurate tool to evalutate your library program?

3) Would you like to learn strategies to help improve your school library program and learn wayt to meaningfully implement and integrate the 21st century skills of the CO Academic Standards?

If you answered YES to any, then go to the “Colorado Power Library” website at: coloradostatelibrary.org/powerlib

Here you can access videos, get access to the Power Library “Highly Effective School Library Program” competencies and rubric, learn how ALL schools can participate in the Power Library Program, and MUCH more.  For more information, contact Judy Barnett, Power Library Coach, at barnejm@comcast.net
