Colorado School Librarians:
Please plan to join us on Saturday, May 1 for the CASL/PLP UnConference Celebrate! Reflect & Renew. Times are tough for school districts, and we know many of Colorado’s school librarians are bracing themselves for tough times ahead. Now, more than ever, we need to take advantage of this opportunity to come together for in-depth conversation, brainstorming, problem-solving, and peer support.
Yes, this is a different format than you have seen in the past. Since TIE is not being held this year for us to connect with as a pre-conference, we thought that school librarians would love the opportunity for a day of more in-depth conversation and sharing through an un-conference format. Facilitators will help bring out the expertise in the room as we reflect on our practice, and share great ideas on how to advocate and plan for the future in these uncertain budget times. In addition, we will have Inquiry expert Leslie Maniotes giving our opening address and joining in on the conversations with the school-level groups throughout the day.
What do you get for your registration fee?
