We are excited to announce that CASL is partnering with TIE for a “CASL Kick-off to TIE” pre-conference on Monday, June 23, 2008 at beautiful Copper Mountain Resort! The CASL board recognizes there are a growing number of school librarians who attend TIE every year, and the important connections you make and the work you do in support of the integration of technology in your schools. As a result, we decided that in lieu of a spring workshop held during the school year to pursue a TIE partnership and deliver this special targeted professional development for school librarians that will focus on your leadership role in the integration of technology and 21st century skills. More details will follow, as an energized planning team continues to work with the TIE and CASL Boards to bring you dynamic presenters and hands-on opportunities to learn how to integrate new technologies into your library program. Stay tuned!
