“When History Happens” Conference

Information about the WHH Conference:
On July 30, 31 and August 1, the WHH consortium will hold a conference on the Auraria campus near downtown Denver. The goal of the conference is to provide educators the opportunity to become an active member in the When History Happens process, and specifically, the Democratic National Convention case study for 2008.
Each day of the conference will have a specific theme and allow educators to slowly dive deeper into the learning strategies and resources that make this occasion such a powerful learning opportunity.
Day 1 – 21st Century Assessments, Resources, and Collaborative Tools
Day 2 – Media And Democracy
Day 3 – 21st Century Learning Design
The cost of attending is $25 per day (meals included). There is also the option of receiving 1.5 hours of graduate credit from Adams State for the cost of $97.50. To receive graduate credit you must attend all three days and complete an annotated resources set.
