Partner with Teachers & Parents for Disability Conference Scholarships, 2/08

>The PEAK Conference on Inclusion is scheduled for February 14-18, 2008, Valentines Day Weekend.
>The conference has several sessions for self advocates.
>The conference is usually geared toward general and special education teachers and administrators.
>Continuing education credits are given for teachers who register.
>Scholarships are given by CDE to parent and staff teams who attend together.
>Unfortunately CDE never seems to give away all the money they have set
>aside. There is a perception that the conference is only for special
>education teachers, so there needs to be an adverting push to reach out
>to staff, parents and individuals who haven’t heard about how good this
>local conference is for everyone.
>Thank you,
>Darlene Beals
