Great workshops planned for school librarians at CAL Conference!

The 2006 Colorado Association of Libraries Conference – A ClassiCAL Celebration of Libraries and Literature – will take place November 9-12, 2006 at the newly-renovated John Q. Hammons Convention Center/Holiday Inn DIA (I-70 & Chambers).

There are a large number of conference workshops this year that are geared toward school librarians, including a pre-conference workshop sponsored by CASL, and presented by Toni Buzzeo on Thursday, November 9 from 9 to 4 :

“Collaborating to Meet Standards: Teacher/Librarian Partnerships K-12″

There is an updated list of some workshops dropped and some slight time changes. But most importantly–there will be a FREE screening courtesy of Walden Media of CHARLOTTE’S WEB major motion picture on THURSDAY from 8-10PM.
